Jenson Button relaxes before Monster weekend
Monster Energy driver Jenson Button prepares himself for his assault on the F1 World Championship in Brazil.
Jenson Button takes time out of his build up to the penultimate race of the Formula One season in Brazil and prepares for what could be a championship-winning weekend.
With the F1 title in his sights, Jenson Button is preparing for an intense weekend as he goes into the Brazilian Grand Prix with a 14-point lead ahead of his closest challenger, teammate Rubens Barrichello.
After 15 races and 7 months of arguably the most entertaining season in recent history JB stands on the verge of an epic title challenge for the Brawn GP team and sponsors, Monster Energy.
Having fought against all odds and thanks to delivering jaw dropping performances this season, Jenson can be crowned World Champion on Sunday should Rubens Barrichello or Sebastian Vettel not take more than 5 and 7 points out of his lead respectively.
Spending the build up to the race at his hotel in Sao Paulo, Jenson has managed to get away from the intensity of F1 and keep cool.
With refreshing openness he’s talked about how his season has come together and gives a sense of how he’s enjoying his racing: From starting the year just happy to be on the grid we’ve had a pretty good time of it this season.
I don’t want to look ahead any further than the next session but I’m hoping this weekend’s going to end on a high whether it’s for me or the team as a whole I think we deserve it.
Having run the Monster Energy M-Claw logo since the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this year Jenson has joined an elite group of other motor racing greats who rock Monster.
Running the M-Claw logo on my lid is a pretty clear sign that I’m not one for blending into the background, plus I get to call other amazing drivers and riders members of the extended family. comments Button.
