Best Fashion Recycling Event Returns This Weekend To London.
Buy My Wardrobe, the â€œchicest recycling event in the UKâ€ returns to London this Saturday at Adam Street Club. Celebrity stylists and beauticians provide personal styling and pampering sessions.
Fashion designers will also demo how to revamp old garments into next season’s hot looks. Designer labels including Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo, Matthew Williamson, Chanel, Biba and Gucci.
Twenty vetted â€œWardrobe Mistressesâ€ will sell the fabulous contents of their wardrobes while celebrity stylists and make-up artists will offer half hour personal consultations to guests. To complete the individual look beauticians from the Powder Lounge will offer eyelash extensions, threading, manicures and more.
This event will also feature a Revamp area with talks and demonstrations by fashion designers showing how to revamp old garments to create next seasonâ€™s hot looks. With sewing machines to hand they will demonstrate how to add eyelets and sequins to old jeans and t-shirts or how to make funky shorts out of old jeans. Nearly new garments, bags, shoes and accessories will be sold by â€œWardrobe Mistressesâ€ that include Gucci Group Executive Mimma Viglezio, fashion designer Lynn Mackie, TV Presenter/writer Giselle Morley, celeb stylist Zoe Lem and more.
