RANDY NEWMAN POSTPONES EUROPEAN TOUR ON DOCTOR’S ORDERS
It is with great regret that Grammy and Academy Award-winner Randy Newman has had to postpone his forthcoming European tour including his Dublin dates in Vicar St. on November 3rd and 4th on doctor’s orders because of physical limitations and severe pain caused by stenosis in the lower back and neck.
The 18-date tour had been due to start on Saturday November 1 in Berlin, and followed the recent release of Newman’s latest album, the acclaimed bestseller Harps And Angels, which is his first collection of new material in almost a decade.
Randy Newman says:
“I deeply regret not being able to come. I like it so much in Europe and I’ve always been treated so well. I’ll get there as soon as I can.”
Ticket holders can get a refund from point of purchase. Details of rescheduled dates will be announced shortly.
