When 10,000 rock fans pack into an Arena to see their favourite band play you can practically hear the crowd roaring miles away. Now times this by ten and you can imagine the reception the Gallagher brothers got as they stepped on stage in Belfast last night with their band Oasis as part of their two sell-out dates.
Oasis, who last played the Odyssey three years ago, played an energetic set of their hit songs spanning the last decade.
Songs from their latest number one album, Dig Out Your Soul, including the new singles The Shock of The Lightning went down very well, but the biggest crowd pleasers were Cigarettes and Alcohol and Don’t Look Back in Anger.
The band wrapped up the night with a rendition of The Who’s My Generation.
The second show was added to the tour after the band broke Odyssey box office records selling out tickets for the gig within 14 minutes.
