ABANDON Theatre will bring their improvised comedy show “Your Line or Mine?”  to Belfast this weekend. The show, which has run successfully in the UK for over a year, will open the first of its residencies at the Black Box on Sunday November 2 and will be staged on the first Sunday of every month thereafter.Your show, Your Line… Your choice.  “Your Line or Mine?” is a fast-paced, laugh-a-minute, rapturous improvised comedy show.
The performers interact directly with the audience and create comedy out of whatever is on the audiences’ minds: current affairs, politics, movies, music and darn right inexplicably extravagant suggestions.
The company will include the best up-and-coming English, Irish and Scottish comedy talent.
The producer of the show, Deon Newbronner has a personal connection to Belfast.
His mother is originally from Northern Ireland and left just before the war in the 1930’s to emigrate to Rhodesia, now known as Zimbabwe.
Although born in South Africa, Deon moved to Belfast in 1994 and stayed there for eight years before moving to London to pursue his career in theatre.
Your Line or Mine opens at the Black Box in Belfast on Sunday November 2.
