Irish women wanted for reality tv show on obsession and addiction
A BELFAST production company are on the hunt for two Irish women to take part in a reality TV programme. The show, The Last Resort, produced by Tern TV sees six extreme modern lifestyle addicts whisked away for nine days – all expenses paid – to a luxurious stately home Ballywalter House.
Executive Producer Alison Millar believes taking part in the once-in-a-lifetime programme could change someoneâ€™s life forever.
She added: â€œAt the house the six contributors confront their problems face on with a team of health and therapy experts.
â€œThey will help the addicts through a programme of psychotherapy, life coaching and extreme detox with one objective – to break free from their obsession before it’s too late.
â€œAmong the experts are Dr Raman Kapur – Chief Executive, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist with Threshold, a mental health charity and Amanda Hamilton, a qualified nutritionist, broadcaster and best-selling author.
â€œWe are looking for everything from women who have an obsession with cleaning, workaholics and spendaholics to those who are addicted to cosmetic surgery, obsessed with their body image, who may be a hypocontriac or even a sex addictâ€.
The project, in association with BBC Northern Ireland and RTE, are urgently looking for two women who are obsessed with gambling, scratch cards, shopping, online gambling, internet, cleaning, hoarding, binge drinking or cosmetic surgery.
