IRISH songstress Andrea Corr is head over heels in love with her new man but has no plans to tie the knot.
The Corrs singer, who released a solo album last month, has been going out with Brett, the son of billionaire businessman Dermot Desmond, for the past eight months.
But while the Dundalk beauty is happy with her boyfriend, the pair have no plans to wed.
She said: “The rest of my family are all settled but I’m not there yet.
“I have a boyfriend but obviously I am not married and haven’t got babies yet. I’m definitely not in any rushâ€.
The 33-year-old is the only Corr not to have started a family – her sister Sharon has two children, her other sister Caroline has three children and brother Jim has one. And while Andrea and Brett are in no rush, her father Gerry wants her to get a move on.
“My daddy jokes with me like, ‘Come on, Andrea. When are you going to do this?’ and everything like thatâ€, she revealed.
“Of course I want a family at some stage. The girls and Jim and their children intensify that feeling as I love them so much my heart hurtsâ€.
The singer, who’s album went in the UK charts at a disappointing number 38, says despite her ambitions career isn’t everything.
She added: “I’d be happy to be remembered as a good friendâ€.
