SEXY singer Andrea Corr has revealed she hates the downloading culture.
And the former lead singer of The Corrs says her hate is specifically of the iPod.
The pint-sized songstress says she hates the MP3 generation and feels the iPod “ruins†music.
She said: “I have an iPod but I barely use it, I can’t stand the sound quality of themâ€.
Andrea is currently promoting her debut solo album Ten Feet High and believes MP3 players like the iPod are damaging artists’ reputations.
She added: “I don’t download – I can’t get my iPod to get the volume the way I’d like it and when you’re a musician you spend so much time making a quality record and it gets compressed to sound like it does on an iPod.
“There’s nothing like the physicality of going out and buying an album.”

Hello webmaster…Thanks for the nice read, keep up the interesting posts..what a nice Tuesday
Hi…Man i love reading your blog, interesting posts ! it was a great Thursday
I’m not a musician like Andrea. I’m only a music hobbiest. But what she said was right. Music got compressed when it’s in mp3 format, it destroys all the smooth sounds that originally have. Lots of sound get distorted. Sometimes making EQ bands flat. Pretty much making 3-Dimensional music to 2- Dimensional.
CD-quality music has more depth for sure!
Technology is making us lazy I guess. ITune is selling her singles. Making us don’t have to step out the door to get her music instantly.
Unless there’s a way to make a whole new generation of supernatural sound quality (probably it would be called somethingHD, or else the music industry will continue to decline. It’s all my opinion.
Nice post by the way!
